Botanical Garden in Valencia

The Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia, also known as Valencia Botanical Museum, was the first botanical garden created in Spain, has existed since the sixteenth century (records are kept of 1567) and was restored in the years 1987 to 2000, the Currently, the Botanical Garden of Valencia is one of the many botanical gems this city has.

The botanical garden has about 4500 species belonging to 5 continents and is administered by the University of Valencia.

Among the 20 plant collections of the museum highlights the collection of palms is now one of the largest in Europe. The exhibition greenhouses and tropical vines collection, Umbracle, splendid collection of aquatic plants, Succulent collection, Crushed endemic, Aquarium and Aviary.
